Satisfied Customer

Day 1: Saw a 2008 Veracruz at Pigg Enterprises, just outside of Birmingham, and set up a time to drive down (it's 90 miles away) and see it. Was pretty excited about it as it described as in perfect condition and very reasonably priced. Day 2: My salesman was Jamie Frost, who was very helpful and knew what he was talking about. I was allowed to take the car and test drive it by myself without a Salesman trying to sell me on it the whole time. Jamie was understanding that I had to bring my two kids (husband was at work and couldn't get off) Was very happy with the car and bought it right then and there. It was literally on EMPTY when I bought it, so Pigg put $15 in it for me. I filled up the rest of the tank on my way out. Day 3: Had to drive up to Cleveland, OH for a memorial service and decided to take the Veracruz. At 9PM, in Cleveland, the car suddenly wouldn't start...no warning, just dead in the parking lot. Suspected the battery had died as it was very hot and the original battery from 2008. Sure enough, with a new $80 battery, it fired right up. Haven't had a problem since. Day 4 Disappointed, but relieved that the Veracruz is running great again. Called Pigg to request a refund on the battery as it died literally 24 hours after I bought it and felt that was a fair request. Ended up talking again with Jamie Frost who passed my request to the owner. Pigg's response: "We'll cover half the cost of the battery." I was astounded. Really? I questioned the owner's offer again to Jamie and he went to bat for me: "Don't worry, I'll make sure we cover it." Day 7 A check from Pigg arrived for the full amount. Thank you Jamie! Summary: Overall, good experience with Pigg. Love our Veracruz! It's in perfect condition. Will likely buy from them again. Few comments: 1. Owner might be a bit stingy. I definitely think it's a good idea to send customers driving off the lot with a FULL tank. They probably just spent > $10,000 on a car, what's an extra $50? I know I'd have appreciated it. And I'd have appreciated an immediate offer to cover the full battery cost. 2. Definitely ask for Jamie when you arrive. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and has your best in mind. He also found some toys for my kids to play with while all the paperwork was being signed. Really appreciated it and highly recommend him!

Piggs enterprise is a joke!

Piggs enterprise is just like their name say a bunch of Pigs!! I went to Pigg's enterprise to purchase a vehicle. I let them knew that I had already been ore-approved. So I fell in love with this Car on their lot but before inquiring about the price I noticed that the hood of the vehicle was up on one end & the bumper wasn't leveled. So I immediately realized that the car had been in some type of fender bender & it hadn't been reported. Obviously not everyone report their accidents. I know this b/c I have been employed with A car manufacturing company for years. So the owner then stated that he could easily get it fixed for a couple of hundred dollars. He was very rude & didn't even try to compromise the price! The price of the car was very over priced when in comparison with the same model vehicles in our area & above the blue book value as well! They don't try to help the customers at all! So I ended up going to another car dealership in the area & purchased a vehicle. The salesman @ Reinhardt were much friendly & willing to negotiate on the price of the car.

Pigg Enterprises unsatisfactory service.

It's a Saturday morning and I have traveled to Montgomery Alabama due to my interest in a 2010 Honda CRV. The dealership holding the vehicle for sale was Pigg Enterprises. There, I was able to critique as well as test drive the Honda and because of the price and acceptable performance of the car I decided to buy. The dealer ,however, proceeded to explain to me that he was.unable to sell me the car because someone from huntsville was on there way to look at it as well when I proceeded to argue my position he proceeded to make contradictory statements to my face. Now, I am an African american female who simply expressed interest in an automobil and was sent walking with cash in my hand off that lot. I conclude from the actions portrayed that day to be discriminatory considering I traveled 300 miles to a dealership to be denied a car simply because of a promise made from an unknown other to come look at the car. I could of sworn we were through with these petty childish actions from the 60' s , but apparently not. I am a pissed consumer and I admonish anyone and everyone not to do business with this dealership .

I am a black male and I have bought several vehicles from Pigg Enterprises and can tell you honestly that this story does not sound anything like the people I know work there. Their word is their bond and they have held vehicles for me while taking care of financing.

They are up front about everything and there are no hidden costs like most other dealerships. I will continue to drive from Selma to Prattville to buy my vehicles and they will be the only dealership for me.

This is a good story, I live a few miles from Pigg and here to verify their reputation and so far it doesn't sound good. Any suggestions on where to buy?

since i cant edit this comment i wanted to correct the fact that the vihical of intrest was a 2007 CRV not a 2010
